Met up with my secondary school friends to go joe's house bai nian again. Lost a couple of bucks there. Damn. Took a cab back home with the courtesy of chine saw and then went over to Mervyn's house for a great steamboat dinner with the 203f gang.
Btw thanks for the invitation Mervyn. Enjoy your new ride with your new year!
Being posted to the new camp seems to be both a good and a bad thing. I don't know why the moment I step into the office, people welcome us with wide hands and they were so delighted to see us. The bad thing is the very minute, i hear them backstabbing about other people who are either bullies or pest. Office politics you might call it and its just so interesting. I know I can choose to believe or not but when there is a group of people saying the same thing, you know I have to believe.
The very first night of the camp, the officer was good enough to let us have nights out but the pest insisted on following us out. The pest is irritating because everyone says he bullies and pushes his job to new people. He talks non-stop rubbish and blah blah.. So in the end he followed us out. We went Lot1 to buy new pillow and pillow case (because the camp 1 really cmi la) and I actually wanted to buy a bedsheet la but not enough cash. Then we played pool and eventually went back to book in.
On the second day, it was another boring day until lunch they suddenly say there' a medical exercise to be carried out by the medical center and we will be involved as 'casulties'. So each of us were given a card with our physical conditions and we need to act out. (during the hold-out, I was watching a hilarious show called 'Himalaya Singh' in the enlistees mess; the show is retarded la. hahahaha)
We were called to move out and act and then the medic was panicking nervously of course; the sirs and other sergeants are watching! Then I was sent off to the medical center for fake 'further treatment'. The medic poke the bloodly big needle for drips into my vein and accidentally kicked IT! I was so shocked la.. 1 of the medical officer saw it and told him to give me a second jab! (I was like, wtf man what if he pui zui again!?) Luckily the conducting officer saw the situation and told him to stop, let me leave already. HAHAHA! What a relief!
Now I'm having blue-black on that mark he missed. Damn.
This pics weren’t taken by me but ripped off from pat’s blog and I just feel happy, had a good laugh my ass off for the past 5mins looking at this pics:
WOOT!! I FINALLY GOT MYSELF A 'MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE' TEE!!
Went to meet darling and her mum at their house void deck and had lunch with them at the nearby kopitiam. While on the way on the bus, I saw a very young couple with a baby boarded the bus, I was thinking this damn couple is really wasting their parent's money. Confirm Shotgun. After looking at them for awhile, suddenly the guy looked at me and smile, never did I know it turned out to be Nicholas and Joanna (they were my secondary school frens and we haven't been in contact since graduation letssay around 5years?) So the fucking rumour about them was right, they're married! Nicholas just refuse to admit that it's a shotgun but we all know that noone would admit they had a shotgun marriage la.. Had a short conversation with them and soon spread the words around my other secondary school peers. Bad news spread fast especially when it comes to me. LOL.
We went bugis first to get myself a motorbike helmet. The shop that my friends recommended me; their staff seem far too busy and they don't serve me sia.. seems attitude. I bought from another shop lor.. bo bian..
Then window-ed shopping around Orchard and found a shirt that I liked; MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. they rox. As simple as that.
Sent darling to the MRT station and went to meet my secondary school friends after that to celebrate's zuxin's 22nd birthday at a pub in pervis street.
I can't imagine my life is far better off than what I had imagined. The life now is much more better(slack-ering) than my BMT trainings. I've been studying for the past few weeks attending labs and lectures (but infact the labs could be complete in an hour but on the schedule it was indented with 2-3hours or sometimes a full day) The timing allocated was unreasonable; we had to sleep through our days!
Me and my bunk mates party-ed in the bunk by ordering 2 golden pillows from Katong all the way to our camp! Imagine that kind of life we're leading. Every afternoon we had an hour's break to rest/sleep. Every night after 6pm we are sort of 'free' in the camp!
Way to go. 2 more weeks to post out and hopefully I get an easy posting!
WARNING: LOWER YOUR SPEAKERS. IT BLOWS. and u'll see me HAHAHAHA ITS BLUR because i didn't invest in a good cam. ITS LOUD because my indian neighbours are hosting their wedding lunch down at my void deck.
